American & Classic . . . to a TEA!
American Classic Tea is grown on America's only tea plantation - The
Charleston Tea Plantation on Wadmalaw Island near Charleston, SC.
American Classic Teas are the freshest available, which provide for a smooth
and mellow flavor, while most imported teas are 9-12 months old before reaching
the consumer. This tea is grown without the use of insecticides or fungicides
for a cleaner, purer tea than imports. The plantation frequently undergoes
inspections by the FDA and the SC Dept. of Agriculture.
Made In America: Charleston Tea Plantation employs people from the rural
areas adjacent to Charleston, thus providing needed jobs to workers here in
America. Hopefully, all Americans will be proud to serve America's only
home-grown tea as an alternative to foreign imports.
